~~ NWQOTD Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 ~~
Good Morning everybody! So DH and I were talking about how when we were young, we'd pretend to be married. This brought on today's question:
When you were young, did you have a pretend hubby? What was his name / job / etc? Did you actually get married to someone with the same name or job as your childhood pretend hubby?
My 'husband' was Brian. Brian didn't really have a job, that i know of LOL. So yeah, i was wrong (DH's name is Craig). DH's 'wife' was Shauna (obviously way off from Mor).

I never pretended I had a husband. When I was really young (like 5) I had an invisible friend named Indiana Jones.

Never pretended to have a husband, though I frequently 'married' my friend Andrew when we were kids. My cousin was always the officiant.

Nope. My chief pretending was that my friend and I were two single girls living in the city...my mother must have thought I was never getting married

My neighbor PJ was my childhood BF... our parents even made us a candle light dinner when we were like 3 years old. LOLThey moved away when I was like 8 by then the childhood BF thing went away but he was still my BFF, his sister and my sister were BFF's too.
I miss them

Actually, I pretend married my first 'boyfriend' in 5th grade
His name was Hernan - way off from Mike
We got 'married' under a tree in the schoolyard and my bff's (at the time) mother worked for Delta so she printed up fake plane tickets to Hawaii for our HM

Funny thing is, Hernan is the son of one of my mother's oldest friends. He's one of my oldest friends too - known him since kindergarten. He was even invited to our wedding, but didn't come since he moved to California a couple years ago.

Nope, no husband for me when I was little. I was too busy wanting to be the Queen of England
