NWR: I got a job!!

I have been looking since January, knowing I would be graduating in May. So basically since graduation in may I have been out of work. It wasn't so bad, timewise, when the wedding was close, but it def took a toll on DH and I financially.
Anyway, I had gone on an interview in June, and while the guy liked me, he was waiting to hear about his grant funding, to know if he'd have a position.
Anyway, he emailed me this week and finally has money. So I will be starting a Postdoctoral research position in december at Mount Sinai School of medicine.
It's gonna be different getting used to commuting into the city everyday, but I am looking forward to it and learning lots of new things.
And now DH and I can start thinking about and saving for a house!

I'm not a medical Dr. I have my PhD in Biomedical Engineering. I would eventually like to do R&D for a pharmaceutical company.
