I would take him to the bank and live my life without him; enjoy my life with my children!
I feel if you cheat once you'll cheat again!! And given the track record of men in my DH family.. Wow I'm thankful my hubby behaves life a perfect man!

I agree that you cheat once, you'll cheat again-BUTTTT at the same point I think they should still try to work things out with a counselor and try and move past it, at least for their children.
No matter what a D-bag a husband he is, I still don't think the marriage should be that 'disposable' , without working on it extensively first.
Not for nothing, but my parents went through a lot (and survived an affair) and my parents duked it out and stayed together. And I didn't find out about that until recently.
Nobody's perfect, and nobody knows the dynamics of a relationship except for the 2 that are in it.
As much as Tiger messed up, I truly believe in the sanctity of marriage and that it should try to be worked out. Remember, you say 'for better or worse' when you say your vows at the wedding.
Sorry if this causes controversy but I feel strongly on topics like this.

Hmmm
I agree that marriage is forever, but I think that works both ways. He shouldn't be given a free pass to cheat because marriage is supposed to be forever.
I honestly don't know, but I don't think that I could get over something like that. I know that he feels the same way. Neither of us could get over the other cheating.
I don't like even thinking about it.....I would be beyond devistated.

I agree hunni... I remind myself of my vows when we get into some crazy abnormal fights... you take the good with the bad... Until all avenues are exhausted, there's no need to just give up! When there's HUGE $$ involved though, it's prob sooooo tempting to take the easy way out

well put Jen. Im am quick to speak though as I am not sure how I would feel or act in that situation. But I do love my DH more than anything & if I knew that he loved me & was willing to make the committment to make our marriage work then I would like to believe in my heart that I'd find forgiveness & try to make things work for our marriage. I took our marriage & our vows very seriously & I dont plan on just throwing away our marriage like so many do these days b/c they have forgotten the reason they fell in love, how to communicate or how to show appreciation for one another...I refuse to become a statistic!

I totally believe in marriage! I will work to the end for my relationship! When you think about how much DH and I have worked and improved on our relationship throughout the years I feel blessed.. When I realize we argue about pitty stuff and see what other human beings go through I just feel guilty for not appreciating a bit more what we have..
No matter how much money in the world we might get into our relationship will always come first! But I'm soo strong hearted that I don't think I could forgive cheating.. But only G OD knows..

Re: NWR: Soo its all over the news......
Whats strange is...
That ive been cheated on by my EX boyfriends... and couldnt even look at them...
And when I think about my husband cheating... I feel like I would work it out with him because I do love him alot...and marriage is HUGE compared to dating, esp with children involved
With that being said, I didnt know he actually admitted to it...

I totally agree. You don't walk away from your marriage without at least trying to make things work. Especially when there are children invovled, I would never want my children to think that their father or I gave up on our marriage. My parents also made it through ALOT and their relationship is so much stronger for it.

We could not continue our marriage if either of us cheated...we both feel strongly about that and we just couldnt continue. I mean everyone is different but even if we had kids it wouldnt change the situation cause you should both be happy and we would work it out so our kids would be happy as well.

I guess I am the only one here that would leave my DH if he cheated. Sorry but I can't trust someone after they did that to me. I don't want to go on with the marriage after that and be miserable.
With that said, DH is the most LOYAL person I have ever met in my life. Things could change but thus far since I have known him since we were 15, he was always against cheating and stuff. So, I am confident that he would never do something like that.

Just wanted to say that I finally now read the story and omg... if he was with this chick for the past 2-3 yrs... thats totally inexcusable... there's apparently no remorse there and i def could not forgive that.... If a mistake is made once, we can try to work on it... if you do it to me again, then shame on me for taking you back after the first time... I'd like to at least be able to say we tried working on it though

Exactly. People on here said that they have to take their vows seriously. Well, I am not going to be the only idiot that did take the vows seriously. (By idiot- I mean out of DH and I) So, it means more to me than him? If that's the case- buh bye!

I think the whole tiger woods scandal is hilarious and very entertaining. Don't get me wrong I feel bad for his wife and think he is a huge scumbag... but I really get a kick out of the whole story... he got his a$$beat & deserved it

Tiger woods is an idiot, he is a huge public figure and if he honestly thought that an affair with some no name waitress was not going to get out he deserves everything he gets.
That said, I have absolutely no patience for cheating. If you want to be with this one and that one then you shouldn't have gotten married. I honestly don't know what I would do if DH ever cheated, but I do know myself and I can hold a grudge which means I most likely would not be able to get past it. It would take some serious graveling and therapy to make the marriage work. That might seem mean or harsh, but I would be so so so hurt if it ever happened and really don't know if I could ever get past it.

DH & I have a joke about cheating. We always say that's 50 cent. If I see him looking at another woman (which he never does unless the fake boobs are so big I can't help but too). I will say is it worth your 50 cent? It is our joke that once your married if you cheat for every $1 you make it will cost you 50 cents. So he will joke and say not worth my 50 cent. Guess it was worth it to Tiger

I have to be honest...I don't know why people are so outraged by this. It happens all the time!! He is a sports guy, with millions of dollars, and I am sure an ego to match.....these sports/celebrity men and woman do this all the time...he just got caught. These people are not normal people, they can do anything, have anything etc. and they don't place a value on marriage like us 'common folk' .....LOL
I do feel bad for the wife and kids but really its no shocker.
