NYC Public Schools Closed

I think I'm still in shock.

When i called and texted DH to give him the news he didnt believe me. He left for work before they had made the announcement

I was on a 5:42 train so I had to go to Jamaica and then come back home. I'm having some hot chocolate and a big breakfast. Can't believe they closed.

WOW!! What a miracle. I remember when I was in HS the buses would be shut down and we had to walk in the snow from Main Street Flushing all the way to Bayside HS.

Yeah it did suck. I was 2 trains and a bus away

Awesome....I couldn't believe when I heard it!!! They never close for any reason...have a great day ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know, thats so strange! wow, that sux about the trains, i was just one LONG bus ride away. from jamaica ave. to bayside which was usually over an hour in the mornings. were u in chorus? i was in the band.

Yeah I was in chorus with Mr. Sorensen. He was a crazy man! But we loved him.
