NYC Teachers

Any word on school closings? Think it will happen?

Well I went to NYC DOE K-8 and this is my 5th year working with them

and I have NEVER had a snow day...

they closed when I was in catholic hs and college so they do close but SOOOOOO rare

I'm not a teacher but I work for SchoolFood. I'm hoping too but doubting it will happen. Planning on taking the train and getting a cab because that's the easiest way. Good luck girls!

Me too!!!
I'm actually at my 8th year working, but I seem to remember maybe a couple of snow days as a kid. Maybe my parents just let me stay home

Im really really hoping bc i guarantee there will be soooo many teachers absent in my school so if i do show up- ill just have a million kids from other classes split up into my class arghhh
