my new insurance finally kicked and now that I live in Suffolk i would like to get an ob/gyn out here...
problem is I've called a few doctors and they don't have any open appointments till June... !
Do any of you ladies go to a large ob/gyn practice that would have open appointments within a few weeks... i really dont feel like waiting months to see a doctor !

mine is in Smithtown - Personal Women's Care. I usually get an appointment within a few weeks...

I go to the Suffolk OBGYN in Smithtown, but they also have offices in Port Jeff and I think Patchogue as well. I've never had to wait more than a few weeks...and a few times I've gotten same day appointments for emergency type situations, so they're pretty good.

Comprehensive OBGYN in West islip- I see Dr. squicciarini..she is out on maternity leave though ( I think..she was due this week!)
Dr. Ketcham is my brother in law and is a great guy. Dr. Sampino and Dr. Vuolo are wonderful doctors as well!
Also, my sister Dr. Turano, is an OBGYN she has offices in smithtown and hauppauge...let mek now if you want her info!

I go to here too. I mostly go to the Smithtown office but have also been to Patch and Pt Jeff.

Contemporary Womens Care-Smithtown...Dr. McKenna is the best but if you cant get him they have plenty of other docs as well as nurse practitioners.

There's one in Stony brook that I am going to start going to (I have an appointment april 15th for my '8th week' of pregnancy)

I got to the Stony Brook Midwives they have 3 offices - Stony Brook, Islip and out east I think

I go to Hirt in East Islip but she will probably take a few months though. Worth the wait though, she is one of the Top 100 doctors in her field and really good.

My sister goes to Dr Sampino and she thinks he is great, I work with Dr. Sampino and Dr, Vullo and they are great doctors. Dr. Pilliteri is also very good.
