October Vacation Spot (looking for beach weather)

It is SO HARD to plan a trip for October because it is either the hurricane or rainy season EVERYWHERE.

Please tell me where you have gone in October with good weather - within a FIVE HOUR plane ride.

RIght now, Aruba looks like the only option. But, I'm looking for something where i don't have to fight for a lounge chair

We went to Cancun last October and had beautiful weather.
