off topic- name help

20 weeks pregnant!
ok- working on boys & girls names. Set w/ a boy's name.
Thought we were set with a girl's name: Julia Anne- Rob's grandmother's name and my mom's name. But Rob suggested combining the names into-Julianne- which I thought was pretty.

ok- now I need another middle name!
Need your creative help- nothing exotic, nothing too Italian or Jewish as both of us are trying not to highlight our own background.

Julianne Sara Robinson?...Maybe
Julianne Emily Robinson? ..not real sold on emily- never had one in either family.

HELP!

Hey Phyl !

Contrats on your 20 weeks !! Im at 32 ! I cant beleive it ! it goes so fast, enjoy every flutter and kick !

Julianne is very pretty. I really Like Emily. Julianne Emily is cute !!! do you want it to be a name thats in the family or just something different ?

My names are John Anthony or Luciana Alessandra.
(and I may add 3rd names to add grandparents (Harry or Maria) names). not sure, i think 3 is too many, but DH has 3 and really only uses first and middle initial but the 3rd is his grandfather. I havent decided on that.

Whats your boys name ? (can you tell us ? )

TUMMY PATS !

here's my latest belly shot

I also like Elizabeth, or maybe...
Julianne Rebecca
Julianne Grace
Julianne Victoria

I think you need a really 'classic' name to go with Julianne... it's so pretty and elegant!

So what's your boy's name???

Re: off topic- name help

Anna you are too cute in your 'preggo' pics!
I love your names, by the way. I went to HS with a Luciana (Luci) and she was just the sweetest girl, so to me, that name has very good associations! Being around so many kids, a lot of names get ruined for me.

Instead of emily how about emma? I like the name Maire, and Sara as well, infact even though i am not pregnant yet, i am chossing Marie Sara for my Daughter,. and if im lucky enough to have two the 2nd one would be Mirabella...Bella for short (and in italian Bella means beautiful)

Phyl,

Have you considered Julianna as well? I think it is also a beautiful name.

Re: off topic- name help

I was also going to suggest Julianna! I think you can use more middle names with Julianna because of the ending with a vowel sound. I think Julianna Emily sounds so nice.
I'm not pregnant yet either but I love coming up with names

I love the combining of the names...Although not PG we thought about combining our mothers names...Madelena (Madeline and Elena)

I do like the 'a' at the the end...julianna

and I like emily better than sara (it has always sounded very biblical to me...if you are trying to get away from that)

Re: off topic- name help

Here's another vote for Julianna Emily (as if we count... lol ). It flows so beautifully!

I also love to help think of good names for people's babies. My friend and I are discussing the possibilities for her unborn baby ~ right now it's Hailey Jordyn or Jordyn Nicole.

Yabbobay, I love Madelena! Beautiful name, and I love the use of family names. So special!

I'm at 33 weeks and just got back from a sono. Baby is 4lbs 6oz!!!!
I really like Julianna Elizabeth together. It's quite a long name for a little one, but I love big names.
My daughter's name is Emily Victoria(she's almost 7yrs-can't believe it) and so far for this baby we have Kathryn Elizabeth for a girl and Evan Matthew for a boy.

Jenn Z. I LOVE Emily Victoria, and the names you've picked out for your new baby. When is your due date??

Re: off topic- name help

I also love Julianna for you Phyl. My cousins choice for a girl was Isabella Julianna. (shes having a boy)

JennZ, how come you got another sono ? Im jealous! I Was told you get another one after 20 weeks only if its needed . I want another one so bad !!! I can stay at a sono all day ! its amazing.
Do you go to Sffolk Obgyn by any chance ? Are there any 3D sonos out here in suffolk ?

JennRenee, glad you like my prego picks, lol. i dont wanna NOT be pregnant anymore in 2mnths (I know i sound crazy, lol). so im trying to capture it as much as i can.

Back to names, I also like Victoria, Daniela, my SIL loves Gianna. Actually anything ending in 'anna' is a great choice (hee hee). JennR that stinks that names are 'ruined' for you, i know how that can be. hopefully you can still pick a name you like when your time comes and forget about who to associate it with. i know it can be hard sometimes.

Re: off topic- name help

JennRenee, I'm due September 18th!

Anna- I've had 4 sonos so far. The first was an internal to check dates, the second was the 'big one' when they measure everything on the baby to make sure it's all there and then the last two were because my doctor thinks I'm carrying kinda small(I feel like a moose) and is having trouble figuring out the baby's size based on the tape measure method. They told us today that the baby IS on the smaller side, but it's nothing to worry about(not that I was-who wants to push out a big baby). I'm going back in 3 weeks for another size check. My daughter was 6lbs 3oz and 18 1/2 inches when she was born and I was carrying smaller than I am now, so I guess I just 'hide' it well.

WOW! look at those responses!

I was so surprised to see so many answers.
Julia is Rob's grandmother's name and my mom is Anne...so for now I guess we'll stick with Julianne.

I was thinking of Elizabeth- my aunt's name who has suffred a stroke and has memory loss. not doing well at all. But, I am not particulary close to her- that's a LONG story!

Julianne Sara
Julianne Emily
Julianne Grace...all pretty. I have no realtives with those (2nd) names- neither does Rob
Julianne Marie- Marie is my other aunts name and my moms mom name.
MAYBE....
phyl Posted:

oh- boy's name!

Well- Rob picked Julia so I want my son to be named after my father- Anthony. I really really miss him a lot and wish he were here....
oh boy- here are the tears. I gotta stop doing that!

And Rob had a cousin killed by a drunk driver- Glen
so Anthony Glen Robinson
