Office Frustration!
The sales manager here is a giant tool, and we don't particularly get along. I didn't invite him to the wedding, but also had a 'reason' as he does not live on LI and works out of state. But it made for an awkward holiday company dinner just 3 days later when he came in and all anyone there could talk about was the wedding. Oh well.
But since then, he's just been an annoying jerk refusing to acknowledge me by my new name. Emails are still sent to my old email address, although he knows the new one, and when I am copied in on client emails where I am being named as an alternate point of contact he still, purposefully, uses my maiden name.
It could partly be his ignorance that he can't pronounce it, but it feels like a spiteful dig to me. Ugh, I just can't stand annoying childish catty men!
