Oh how I love when DH does...

the dishes. He did the dishes on Wednesday because he was being a good husband (it was my birthday). I go to make some whole wheat pasta and to my surprise, soap is bubbling over the pot and onto the floor. so glad he rinsed This comes one week after he surprised me by doing the laundry. My brand new cashmere can now fit my 5 year old niece I appreciate him trying so all i can do is laugh...Although i think of that Everybody Loves Raymond episode where he does everything wrong so Debra does not ask him to do anything every again. hmmmmm
Any similar experiences with your dh?

Even though I do alot of the cleaning house work DH does the dishes and helps with cooking. He also helps with the folding. I only get annoyed when he complains... He didn't like his undershirts getting wrinkly so now I have to hang them but it's a little annoying for him to complain when I do his laundry.

Oh godddd, DH does the dishes in the coldest water. I always thank him, but wind up doing it again behind his back. They were so greasy and gross, food stuck on them. I don't get it.

He also tried to help with the laundry last weekend, and was pairing up all the socks with the wrong match. He said 'It's short just like this one' and I said 'this one has an adidas sign on it, this one doesn't'. I have been wearing 2 different type socks all week lol

I totally agree about the whole 'Doing it wrong just so he isn't asked to do it again' .

I sort of let it go for now b/c I don't want him to think he can get away with not doing it :)

DH is pretty good and helps with everything so i dont really have that problem....though i think he knows better because if he shrunk one of my sweaters, I would then have to buy a new one

dh is very helpful. He does the laundry and helps with the cooking. My issue is how dirty he gets the stove, it looks like an explosion when he is done. I still have grease I can't get off. I told him to clean up and that it might be easier to cook myself then clean up after him

When he goes to the store! I make him a list with specifically what we need...

Then, he'll come home with Swiffer WET refills when I don't even have a wet, never have, never use one -- and I specified DRY ones in a cardboard box!!

He bought organic peanut butter which was like OIL.

He did the same thing with apple juice - it was disgusting!

He bought me children's Zyrtec that's LIQUID when I have been taking Zyrtec pills in the bottle for over a year (for allergies).

I could go on!

LOL it's so hard to get mad when they are trying. It's so sweet to come home to an empty laundry hamper even if i have to make some sacrifices (how i loved that sweater)
