remember a week or two ago when I posted about a job I REALLY want, but they said they weren't hiring? Well i asked you all what my next step should be after giving the resume (without seeming too persistent). Some of you mentioned writing a letter.
Well I just hung up with the director who told me that she was VERY impressed with the letter I sent, as well as my resume and all of that. So I'm going in on Friday. It's not an 'interview' per se, but they want to get to know me and show me how things work. So I don't know how long i'll be there. The day? A few hours? Who knows. But it's a step in the right direction. So THANK YOU for your advice and please keep me in your prayers that i get this job

I am very happy that they called you back. I guess it can never, ever hurt to follow up like that.
