Ok its been almost 7 months since I.......

received my pictures and I still haven't decided which ones to use for my album. Please tell me I'm not all alone. I feel terrible....I just have no desire to pick through all 1100 proofs. PLease MOTIVATE me

It took me forever to get started too. As long as your photographer doesnt limit you in terms of a timeframe for the album, you might as well wait until you feel more motivated to do the work. Or if you think you will never be motivated, maybe get a friends whose taste you trust to help you pick out the favorites and just plow thru one afternoon.

Don't feel bad, my 1yr. anniversary is just around the corner and I still haven't ordered my albums and pics. yet. I promised myself that before my anniversary I will have them ordered.

I would tell you to make it fun, get yourself in the mood and just tackle it.
I still haven't even done my TY's yet. I am a bad bad bride. I figure I'll get to the album by my 1st Anniversary. hopefully.

I just recently finished my album and the order was just about to go in and I changed my mind on something so the photographer had to hold off on it until the new pictures come in. I was excited to start my album but I didn't realize it would take me so long and I would be indecisive about everything. I just wanted to make sure I totally loved everything and didn't second guess myself later on.

we were good with getting the parent albums but really slacked with our own album!

we were in the same boat. and we had two different professional photographers plus some from DH's camera. oh man it was HELL. we got married in july and finally sent in our choices i think around december. it was horrible!

BEWARE LADIES OF THE HIDDEN CHARGES !!

This is found right on my contract. 'Orders not picked up within 30 days of notice of completion will be charged at 1 1/2% per month interest on unpaid balances.'

A friend of mine got snagged with this and couldn't pick up her album without paying these charges.
