So I know you will thikn I am nuts and I might take this down for fear of being made fun of but I am going to do something that I never though I would do. (other than buy denim leggings ). With the help of a nutritionist and trainer, I am going to try to gain some muscle...yeah, you heard me that will mean gaining weight! Ah! lol
Here's the deal. I have always wanted a lean muscular look. I have never had muscle ever and after training like a fiend and seeing NO results whatsoever, we decided that I need to up my food intake to get to where I want to be. SO for the next few months I will be focusing on gainingm uscle...Iwould say 'bulking' but its really only 3-5 pounds...but on a small person that can mean my pants won't fit!
DH fully supports this and wants me to achieve my goals but also to realize that a couple of pounds won't kill me and I can still be happy! (he is nervous for me for when we have kids...I have to admit, I am too! So perhas this is the best move possible
I don't know why i am writing this, I guess I could just use a little cheering on! Evangeline Lilly, your arms will be mine!!

Absolutely Lauren. A few years ago before i hurt my back i trained & got very thin & then gained alot of muscle. I wanted that look. Think Jillian Michaels. My abs were rock hard & visible. My arms & legs were as well. Thankfully i retained most of it but of course after a year and a half of not working out to that level its been hard to get it back & i need to lose weight (10 lbs) again of course ill always have those rock hard runners legs & my arms are pretty good but its just not the same. So i wish you lots of luck & i think you will feel much better about yourself when you see the pay off at the end. I hoep to see you there soon! lol
The gaining weight doesnt mean anything when its muscle mass. Its a good thing. That why i always say dont worry about the scale. Its all how you feel!
REMEMBER EVERYONE - Look at yourself in the mirror everday & be thankful for a body that is mobile & able to go to extraordinary lengths. Even if not perfect love who you are & how you look. There are so many people who arent able to walk or have the useof their body at all. We are very lucky.

Goooooooooooooo Lauren!!!!!!!!!! You can do it!!!!!
It will be so worth it. Try not to focus on the numbers on the scale so much, and more on how your body feels & looks. My DH constantly struggles with this also. He does this insane swat team work out, and is getting more muscular everyday. However he will not like the number he sees on the scale. It is all about balance. Now go get pumped up!!!!!!!! We are here for you!!!! As for the baby thing I am 23 weeks preggo and only gained about 5 pounds so far which you would think is great. I guess it is but I still am getting the huge belly. So even if you don't gain much it can defin have an effect, I am also very short.
