Re: Ok, so who really has a COOL, DRY place

As long as you have it boxed up and professionally cleaned I don't think you have to worry about it.

Have you done that yet. It comes back in a luggage size box you can put any where.

I do...we live in a Victorian, so we have a huge pantry that does not really work as a pantry b/c the kitchen is no where near it

Re: Ok, so who really has a COOL, DRY place

Right now mine is in the computer room which is barely used. When we move into our house it will go in the closet in one of the empty bedrooms.

I think we will put it in the closet of one of the rooms when we move too. Now its in the middle of the livingroom with the boxes!

Re: Ok, so who really has a COOL, DRY place

I have not done this yet! My dress is still hanging in my closet in the bag, and it is filthy!!!!!!!

How soon do you have to get it cleaned and preserved, before it is not worth it?

Re: Ok, so who really has a COOL, DRY place

REALLY!!

I've got cool & damp or boiling & sticky in my house!!!!

Not sure how to describe the size of the box ... probably 6 inches high and at least 2ft wide by 3 ft long?

Right now it's in the basement on a table with fifty or so sheets & towels I need to fold.
