OK to be late to the GTG??

I was hoping I wouldn't be on call on Thursday - we do every fourth day. So 25% chance of being on call, and of course I am. Hopefully it will be quiet and I will be able to get out early. Is it okay for me to come a little late? I have been contemplating calling in sick that day- I really don't want to miss you guys We'll see...
