Ok, What the F? MIL makes me ROLL MY EYES!

Our wedding was Sunday June 25, 2006.

We paid for 98% of our wedding ourselves.

At our rehearsal dinner we gave each of our parents an 8x10 picture frame for a photo to be given to them after the wedding (both sets are divorced, so each one got one), oh and I let each parent chose the pic.

FAST FORWARD to Tuesday December 25, 2007.

DH and I were at his mom's house. He sees a thank you card we gave her to hand deliver to her friend (SHE wanted to hand deliver it, as she did not have their address). She NEVER GAVE THEM THE TY!!!!! DH asked her why, she said she forgot and (this is a DIRECT quote) 'Since I didnt get one, I figured I'd keep this one'

Not for nothing, but you got a freeking 8x10 pic as opposed to a measly wallet size! W-T-F!?!?!?!

She had mentioned when DH gave her the TY for her friend (way back in 2006) she didnt get one. When DH asked me about it (b/c DH is CLUELESS) I explained she was getting an 8x10---- they both said 'Oh, okay'

Definetly a pain in the @ss BUT I would have given her the ty card anyway just to avoid the drama because people in general are weird like that; if everyone else is getting somethign they want it to even if what they are getting is better. Its a psych thing. All mental.

But definetly WITCH. i'd try and track the friend down and explain to her that your MIL kept it and send her another.

Oh Geez, that is so crazy. Where is the common sense?
