Okay Deb...

Tell me exactly what you've done so far. Are the pictures scanned yet?

I scanned them last night, but when I went to post them, it said I couldn't because
they're in an rtf or some such nonsense and they need to be jpg or the other ones
listed. So then I tried to copy them and put them in another file, but that didn't
work and when I went to send them to you and then me via email, it couldn't do
it because of the network or server or something.

So I think the easiest thing to do now is to rescan them, but what do I do after
it saves 'save to file'?????

I don't think you have to rescan. When you open the file, right click on the picture, and llok for where it says 'convert' click on that, and you canconvert it to a JPG file. Then save it with a different name so that you remember which is the JPG picture.

But what is my problem??? There is nothing that says 'convert' when I right
click on the picture!!!! I'm going to rescan, tell me how to save to jpg

ok, i just scanned one and it says 'where do you want this file' and there's a list.
where does it go? text file???

NO! That's where you convert it to JPG!

My friend is sleeping by the way... her husband said the baby was a beast last night so he's letting her sleep late. He said he'd have to see your scanner to help you because all scanners are different.
I hope you are converting those pictures as we speak!

ok, i finally figured out how to get jpg, so i'm going to try and scan....
