Okay I have weird fears about photo and video...

And it has nothing to do with the photographer and videographer themselves!!! I am so missing reliving my wedding day and I am anxious to see pics!! My hair was great, make-up etc.... I am just so uncomfortable in seeing myself on camera and in pics!!! I am very self conscious and have never been comfortable in my own skin!! I feel like I could have done so much more (the last 10 pounds maybe some plastic surgery lol!)

I hear so many gripes about proofs and the actual pictures taken!!!

Anyone ever feel the same or should I up the meds?

There have been a few threads about this. Don't stress. Pro photos are just so much better at enhancing the positive, you know? I usually hate how I look in photos but I loved my wedding photos. Not only are you looking great in makeup, hair, dress, etc.... but all brides are glowing and look in love...and it all gets captured on film.

Stef is right...I also can't stand the way I come out in pics...they're just awful. However, my pro wedding pics were GORGEOUS...and not just of me...of everyone and everything. They are of such quality that a pic from an average camera just can't even compare.

Trust us...you will LOVE your pics!!!

Yes, I agree I had that fear. I by no means think I am this hottie lol and I shy away from the camera. But the comments on how people love my smile, the dress etc..It does boost your confidence. My mom said something that stuck..the most beautiful time in a woman's life is her wedding day and when she gives birth.

(trust me..the first is wayyyyyyy more glamourous.)

Thanks for the responses!!! I am glad I am not alone. But to be honest, I have seen some candid shots of my wedding, and I am still unhappy with how I look!! I hope the professional shots are better. I am WAY too hard on myself!!!
