I'm in NYC, so I would vote for a place in the city, maybe a day after work. I know most everyone is in LI and staying late in the city is usually a hassle. If someone suggests a place, I can make reservations, etc.

LI's better for me....

...because I wouldn't be able to get into the city until about 7:00 since I'm working all the way out in Suffolk.

What about somewhere in between in central Nassau? I don't know the area well enough to suggest a restaruant - can anyone else suggest somewhere?

I live in NYC area and have no car, so going out to LI then coming back at night won't get me home till midnight.

Depends on the weekend for me... right now I'm spending most of them in MA packing for our move. Only possible options are maybe Feb. 3rd (Superbowl Sunday!) or maybe Feb. 23. What about meeting in Great Neck - the Port Washington line stops right in town so you could walk to a restaurant, and those of us on the island wouldn't have to worry about parking in town, though depending on the time, taking a train in might work too...
