i hop cause im a loser and its pancakes!!!!!
i would leave my husband for a nice stack of pancakes..but since i dont drive he would have to take me first,eat with me drive me back..then id leave him

Megu in Tribeca is my favorite restaurant.
they have this goat cheese stick appetizer thats is soooo good!

Currently, my fav. restuarant is Fushimi and my fav dish is the Tuna Pizza, it sounds gross but it's so good.
Trattoria L'incontro in Astoria (Ditmars Blvd and 31st Street)
We always order the buffalo mozzarella and tomato salad as an appetizer but I love all of their food!

Banjara in the East Village and I just love chicken tikka masala. I miss it there terribly!!!
Locally, I still don't have a real favorite place. I was crazy about this Korean restaurant but recently took out from there and was unhappy about it... There's a middle eastern place called Neomonde which always has fabulous food, but it's more deli style.

fav restaurant Red Plum (sushi) on Mamaroneck Ave in Mamaroneck
1st thing - oysters. they make some weird yummiest souse for them and mostly I drink the souse LOL

Well when i was living on LI I loved Tai Show in massapequa. (4318 Merrick Rd) I learned when DH and I met his aunt there for dinner that they named a roll after her (Rasheeda Roll)
and PS she sings for 'Vision' (Franklyn Wayne band) They're so awesome

Blackstone in Melville is awesome Il Bagatto in Valley Stream La Tavola in Lynbrook
ETA: We just tried Country Kitchen in Massapequa the other day. Freaking PHENOMENAL! The pancakes are to die for!

ohh you really like Biegarten that much?? We have reservations for our first night. DH had a choice between that & Coral Reef and he chose German!!

Too many to choose from! The top ones that come to mind are:
Cafe Buenos Airies in Huntington (anything off the tapas menu is fab!) Louie's in Port Washington (always order 1 doz oysters on the half shell) La Piccola Liguria in Pt. Washington (anything off the specials menu) Dao in Huntington (white tuna roll....yum) Pasta Pasta in Pt. Jeff Napper Tandy's in Northport (good cheap eats) oh, and Fridays or Houlihans...love them!

The melting pot...they are all over, but the closest one is in farmindale.
we usually order the big night out...and it includes a cheese fondue, a salad, meat, chicken, lobster, raviolis, and shrimp to cook for the main course, and a chocolate fondue for dessert!!!
we love the fiesta cheese, and i always try to talk DH into getting some sort of white chocolate for the dessert.
