i wore a plain pair os wedding shoes that i got just for the gardens. your heel does sink into the ground and will get dirty if the ground is wet. i had my bm's bring extra shoes too.

LadyPrincess
i had my shoes on the entire time

I love the shoes! I had the same exact ones! They were so comfortable! Unfortunately, mine are destroyed from the inside of my slip rubbing up against them. But I am still saving them for memory sake.

I wanted to go there for pictures and decided not to spend the money. I totally regret not doing it and don't know why I made that choice! Oh well, had a great wedding/day, but I get sad when I think about that.

If that's any help to you... do it if you think you want to. You don't want to regret anything.

Thanks so much. My FI said for all the money we are spending, we should just go for it. It's so beautiful i'm just so afraid we arent going to have time inbetween the church and ct hour but i think i'm just being a little crazy

We took pictures there, and I'm so glad I spent the money! My dress didn't get too dirty - the girls that escorted us held up my train for me.
DH and I got married in the spring, so all the flowers were blooming. It was beautiful!

A word of caution though - do NOT be late for your time slot. You only are allowed a certain amount of time to take pictures, so if you're late, you lose time.
