DH just got his stimulus check in the mail and I went to open it and ripped it on the end!!! The end where youre supposed to sign!!! PLEASE TELL ME I CAN TAPE THIS AND THE BANK WONT GIVE US A HARD TIME!! Im freakikng out!!!
I ripped a check in half by accident when we were going through our wedding checks and we taped it. My bank had no issues taking it. They probably had seen worse.

i gave a check that was entirely ripped in half to the bank--they taped it and that was that. you should be fine!
