OMG - how much did you REALLY spend per guest

this thread got me thinking...

have you ever added up all the wedding expenses and then divided it by the number of guests?

I know this is pointless...but another fancy way to realize how much weddings cost!!!!

lets not put how much exactly ours was (no competing or flaming for spending too much) -- just vote and comment!!!

I included tips to my vendors too, because that really added up.

It's so easy to get carried away with wedding expnenses. We were lucky that we didn't have to budget too much for the wedding (meaning compromise our choices because of cost) but it was a pretty sad state when we were saying few hundred dollars here or there won't make a difference.

How sad is this...even WITH the generous gifts from my parents and DH's parents, we STILL spent over $200/pp!

I never thought of the cost of the wedding in this exact way before....very interesting...

great post, hubby and I figured it out the other night. Too funny. We wanted to stay under $100 per person, but when we added everything up we paid about $120 pp
