Men are so stupid sometimes!! So he never sees her? Then I think your sister should have a good case against him cause if he was awarded the visits why didn't he use them? Your sister should print out phone records to prove that he never calls!!

NO HE DOESNT. Only on holidays for the day he'll take her or her birthday. Its been like this for 7 years! He had visitation awarded for the weekends. She could have stayed with him and he called my sister and said, 'I dont think she should stay over cause the house isnt ready blah blah blah' Teh guy is an idiot. Not only that he's screwing himself because he only give my sister 86 bucks every two weeks in child support when we all know he's making way more than what he declared to the courts. My sister has NEVER DENIED HIM the right to see his daughter. NEVER. And trust me I know because Im there for both of them more than he ever was.

Do you know how hard it is to look in a little girls face while she's crying and saying, 'I miss my daddy' She wouldnt be crying and saying that if he were in her life...

or when she's trying to call him and she keeps getting his voicemail....ugh

well try not to get too mad--i know its frustrating. hopefully the judge will ask him about whether he is doing 'regular' visitation in accordance with his agreement and if he hasn't--the judge should see thru this as just him being a prick!!!!

Thats the thing Im worried about. Hes the type to lie and say no because my sister doesnt let him when that is the furthest from the truth. I hope the court allows witnesses.

how old is your niece? i know its a rough idea--but could she possibly tell the judge he doesn't come to see her.

he can lie all he wants--but if he has the order and claims he hasn't been able to see his daughter for along tiem--the judge will ask why didn't he file sooner.

and i highly suggest that your sister petition the courts to see copies of his taxes the last few years and request an adjustment in his support. she has that right.

my brother is paying child support for his daughter--and their mother a fecking piece of work. i pray daily for her painful death or at the very least--her uterus to rot and fall out. she's screwed him hard with child support for awhile so i know how it can be dealing with someone who sux as hard as your niece's dad seems to suuuck!

A child is not a bargaining tool. That is awful that he doing this to your sister and niece . With his record of visitation he won't stand a chance.

yeah i understand not wanting to put her thru that. your sister could ask her to just write a note to the judge in her own handwriting about how she wishes her daddy visited more. vs. having her in the court

the key is you have to convince your sister that this is NOT ABOUT HER---its about her daughter. i think too often women forget that part. thinking 'i don't want to deal with it--i get by' but its not about YOU, its about making sure YOUR CHILD gets what she deserves....and that should be her incentive to get her @ss in gear !!

Well she's gonna have to deal with it now. And if she would have dealt with it earlier maybe this wouldnt be happening right now. I have my niece all week. Maybe while were playing Ill ask her to write a letter to her daddy so we can send it to him or something like that. And Ill see what she writes. Thanks for the advice. I cant wait til this is over.
