so I just went and googled '10 week fetus picture' because my sister is 10 weeks pregnant and I wanted to see what the baby looks like etc. etc abortion pictures came up, like no joke, pieces of baby I almost yacked at my desk.
totally killed my day. Someone tell a joke or say something that will make me pee myself rather then sob hysterically at my desk
ooooh so thats where I left my prozac, behind that pretty little DIY wedding candle

well i went with my sister to her 9+ week visit yesterday and I took video of the sono on my camera (which I just happened to have in my bag at work) so I immediately watched the sono video to feel better. still, I will never get those images out of my head

i hate protestors - and i heard that not all of their pictures are real or credible anyway - i think it was on a tv special - but in any case those people scare me - and seriously nobody wants to see that - but its their right to protest i guess....

I KNOW!!! That is sooo true. I used to think that also. When I was in high school, I really thought that Planned Parenthood was solely for Abortions. It's not even. I still understand protesters wanting to go to that SPOT, since they DO perform abortions there, but like you said - not everybody going in is going for that purpose. When I was starting up on BC, I wasn't sure if I still had Health Insurance, so I was thinking of just going there. Luckily it ended up that i DID still have insurance so I could go to the regular gyno. But come on - I would have been sooo uncomfortable walking in there for a regular checkup and getting bombarded by abortion protesters. I'd have to stop and explain to each of them that i'm not there for that purpose. Otherwise I would have felt like a piece of crap.
And about the pictures, I've NEVER seen protesters with gross pictures of aborted babies. That is so wrong and gross. Like somebody said above - what if you're driving by with your kids and they see that? The only ones I've ever seen are the ones with actual pictures of real babies or fetuses (who are alive & healthy). I'm GLAD I've never seen the others. *gag*
