OMG..my liw addiction has really done it this time!!

okay - so are you ready for this???

so I decided i'd make a bowl of egg salad tonight that way I can make quick lunches in the morning...dh is zoned into his video game and I am on LIW ..of course not realizing the time whizzing by... All of a sudden we hear this REALLY loud 'POP'! i was like 'w-t-h was that??' ...for a second i thought maybe a glass broke in the dishwasher??? so i got up to go to the kitchen..that's when dh goes 'uumm...did you forget about the eggs?!?' I look over and sure enough, there is exploded egg all over the stove, and the remainder is burning in the bottom of the pot BLACK! There was not even a drop of water..it had all COMPLETELY boiled down & the eggs must've just been sitting on heat! I completely and totally forgot about them! Even when i heard the pop it wasn't even a thought.. Thank the LORD they didn't go on fire LOL. I have made some dumb housewife moves, but this one takes the cake...oooh LIW how i love thee...i can not stop laughing!

hey at least no one was hurt!

today i was walking towards my cat litter box to change the litter, then i was going to vacuum and then do the dishes, all before dh comes home. I had my laptop open to LIW and saw a post on here that caught my eye. Next thing you know its an hour later and i'm running around trying to get everything done!

Uh-ho!!! So much for those eggs!!

I always have plans to do chores on my days off, but every morning at seven I find my self logging on, then at two, here I still sit, in front of the computer on LIW. AND NOTHING IS GETTING DONE.

I've let water boil down to nothing! Thankfully nothing was in that pot!

I did something worse. I was making Hamburger helper (i love it lol). I covered it and let it simmer. Well I forgot about it and a few minutes later, it was everywhere on the stove, down the sides, the floor. Ugh it was disgusting cleaning it up.

lol. YEA. i really thought i was over it - i was really only coming on every so often for a while just to check in...for a little bit i was actually going a few weeks at a time without even posting..but hours got cut at work last week - so of course with my many days off(that i swore was going to be dedicated to cleaning my apt. so much that u could lick the floor), instead has re-instated my addiction
