Hi there... We are going to Hawaii for our honeymoon and are deciding between Kuaui and The Big Island. We think we'll just take a day trip to the Big Island. Is that enough to see alot of sights?

I have heard that the Big Island really doesn't have much in the way of sight-seeing or touristy things to do. But, I've never been there, so I can't tell you firsthand. Why not ask your travel agent?

the only sight there is the volcano. I think one day is fine.

Actually, we spent 1 full day of sightseeing there & there is a lot to see! We loved the way that it was sooo different from the other islands. Get the book Hawaii for Dummies ... it lays it all out for you.
