I think I might have decided on New Orleans for hubby's birthday (we'd go the week after his actual birthday)...THOUGHTS?!? Good idea?!

I was thinking we stay in the French Quarter?

Yes! This is a very good idea! Def stay in the French Quarter too and eat beignets from Cafe Du Monde. MmmmmM

How fun! I've only been once (and it was for work) but I thought it was a fun city. I want to go back with FH one day. When I went, I stayed at The Omri Royal which is in the French Quarter.

yes stay there! i've only been there once but my sibs were just there and they had a great time. i would've been there too but i just came back from the hm

This!! i went a couple of years ago and loved it. We stayed at the Harrah Hotel because we got comped there.
Yummmm Cafe Du Monde!!!!

Also they have the best Gator Bites down there!!

I have been to N.O. 6 times and it is one of my favorite citys. Definitely go. Stay in the French Quarter. The Maison Dupuy was really nice as far as hotels in the Quarter. Let me know if you want anymore info...

So glad to hear everyone loved it!

I'm about to book it - got an awesome price for flight + stay at the Marriot in the French Quarter. YAY!!!

I'll ask you girls for some advice as we get closer to going! I'm so excited and hope hubby loves it!
