I am thinking of doing a non-traditional thank you pic -meaning - no full body shot - what do you think?

Love it!
We did 'non-traditional' also - close up, b&w. Everyone loved it but of course we heard comments from some of the older women who wanted to see my gown and mantilla.
Can't please everyone! LOL

We also did a non-traditional pic and people loved it. The only person who complained was my mother, who eventually liked our pic a lot.

We did a total face(es) shot in B&W--horizontal with a touch of shoulders. I have heard only good things about it.

We did a more traditional one and a non-traditional one - but i think your picture is beautiful - i would definitely go with it - if you both like it!

thanks girls - i love the pic - a bunch of people have made comments that the pic should be full body to show the dress and bouquet - but i like the fact that it shows our faces better.

My mil said the same thing and drove me crazy making me feel bad about the picture I picked... I tried my best to ignore her and used that pic anyway. Well when everyone started to get their rsvps in the mail and told her how nice they were she changed her tune. Now she says they are really nice and my sil wants to use the same style for her TY
People are always going to have something to say... if you picked a tradiitional shot there would be SOMEONE who would go ' Oh why didn't you do something different?? everyone does a pic like this'

Beautiful...we did the same thing! You can only see our faces and mid-torso. Everyone loved it!
I like it. We used one that was almsot full length, it just seemed the most natural looking. It wasn't a really posed one, it was taken on our way out of the church. I thought soem of the more traditonal peopel wouldn't like that it was black & white, but we received many compliments on it. My mtoerh admitted that she prefferd color, but she was going to have other pictures of us, so she didn't care.
My cousin used a full length shot & it was kinda far away & 10 years later, my, mom keeps saying, ' I wish I could see her face better!'
You can never win. Just go with one you think you look good in.

We did a non traditional pic as well...it was me and him walking under the Bridal Party when we entered the reception (my other choice was the traditional one).
I wanted the one i picked because me and DH looked so happy in it and that is what i wanted to covey in my TY. People keep telling me how amazing and happy we looked.
