So i got my wedding video on Monday. My videographer showed up late to my wedding. He came in the middle of the ceremony. He never called or anything saying he would be late. He then had to leave the ceremony and left his partner there to finish. My dads friend luckily had his video camera and taped the ceremony so he used his footage for what he missed in the beginning. Its really shaky but I expected that. When he switched to his camera it was great. Then when he left he had his parter use his camera and the whole rest of the video is blurry. You can barely see peoples faces it looks either out of focus, or on the wrong setting or something I have no idea. We did not get charged for the video but I am really upset that its basically ruined. What should I do?? What would you do??

I would call and tell that you are VERY unhappy with the service they provided and you feel like you lost a very important part of your wedding memories and try and get your money back. I wouldnt say be mean but be firm and say I dont think that what I paid you is fair game for what I received.
Good Luck-that really stinks all together

I think you definitely need to contact his company about the problems with your video. I am going to assume (I hope) that part of your contract was violated so there should be some refund, or something that the company can do for you. Unfortunately, the one thing they can't give you is a complete, not crappy, video. I'm sorry!!!

Maybe take it to someone...another video company or call another video company and see if there is anything that can be done. It stinks that youve got a video but its almost a loss I hope you at least have pictures that you love if nothing else

Maybe if you go to another company they can cut parts that arent as blurry and at least put it together so it is watch-able does that make sense?
