did anyone have orchids in their bouquets? Can you post pics? And how did they hold up? heard they were delicate!!!!
I had orchids, you can see pictures in my review which is posted in The Bride's Review board. They are very delicate and mine didn't hold up well at all. However, if you are going to have them, make sure your florist provides each stem with its own water source...mine didn't!
We had orchids in our CPs and in DH's bout, but not in my bo-k. The ones in the CPs, which were submerged in water, stayed fresh for weeks after the wedding. The one in DH's bout was wilted by the end of the day.
Orchids are extremely delicate. Especially the white ones, sometimes if the get handled too much, bumped around etc, they will have brownspots/bruises. You always have the option of silk flowers. FM me if you are interested in silks.
