Our babys christening
Well, today was the big day! My baby was so beautiful in her dress...a little angel and truly a blessing to us and the ceremony was wonderful! My sister in law got stuck in traffic and was late but thank god she got there just in time for the water baptism! The dinner party afterwards was really good. If anyone is looking for a nice place for dinner or a party check out Forestieri restaurant in Hauppauge. The food was great and so was the service. We got so many compliments on the whole afternoon. It was really nice. I did make the balloon centerpieces and I was too late with the teddy bear frames (out of stock) so I got really nice frames with a pink rocking horse on them. I spent all of last night wrapping them! My fingers are killing me!
All in all it was worth it. We had a low moment when the priest was talking about our family and friends that have passed on. My husbands dad died in a car accident a few years ago and the family of course still misses him. Especially on days like today. He would have been very proud of my husband holding his first grandchild.
Well, it was a good day!!
