our Christmas Eve/Christmas morning drama!!
Ok so let me first start by saying DH's parents are divorced, his father remarried and had a baby with the new wife who he is now divorced from. well their kid 7 yr old girl, Laura, who was my flower girl! well DH's father pretty much raises her by him self! her mother is a drunk and very unreliable and been arrested a bunch of times!
well we got to FIL's house on christams eve and he told us that laura's mom was prob going to come pick her up sometime tonight. but he was like whatever we will see cuz who knows with her.
at 1:00am she calls to see if laura wants to get picked up, but laura didnt wanna go, she told her no she was going to stay with her dad, and the mother called back 3 more times!! finally laura agreed to go with her mom..
as we were waiting for her to pick her up, laura was sitting on DH's lap was being all sad and DH was like laura you dont have to go if you dont want to, and she says 'i have to they said they were going to throw my toys away if i dont go' WHAT!! HOW DO YOU SAY THAT TO A LITTLE GIRL ON CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!!
well ok here comes the drama so a little while later we look outside and there is like 4 people standing on FIL's front stoop....so DH goes umm why is there so many people out there! so laura was looking for her jacket, and FIL goes outside and just confronted them about picking her up so late, and why there was so many people there! next thing you know DH runs to put his shoes on and runs outside and then a min later Laura is screaming her head off!! 'daddy daddy, someone help my daddy!! i run out side and there is a full on brawl outside! laura is tramatisd! im freaked out cuz now DH got into it and my FIL is on the floor getting kicked and punched and i get laura into the house and im telling to dont worry he will be fine, chris will get him it will be ok! she is just crying so i go to grab my phone to call the cops! when lauras mothers other daughter who is prob older comes into the house! to get laura! laura doesnt wanna go is crying im holding her back and telling laura she doesnt have to go the girl pull laura from my hands and picks her up and says she will be fine! so i start screaming at her she doesnt wanna go let her go!
im soo mad at myself for letting her take her! you have no idea ive been killing myself this whole weekend!! and i didnt do anything not cuz i was scarred of this girl, because honestly i would have f'ed this girl up! laura is my SIL and means the world to me, ive pretty much known her her whole life! the only reason i didnt do anything was cuz Laura was right there! already tramatised and me getting into a fight with her sister in front of her after she just witnessed her dad get beat up! noo!
FIL was sooo messed up! it was the mothers new boyfriend and her 17 year old son who were beating the living crap out of him! his face was completely swollen and blood everywhere! we called the cops and filed a report and had them arrested! spend the whole night in the emergency room with FIL...he has a fractured face!!
the mother was suppose to have laura for the weekend so we are waiting to see if she will bring her home when she was suppose to! FIL called her yesterday hoping to get a call back and didnt hear back!
i feel responsible if she doesnt bring her back beacuse i should have never let her go! FIL doesnt seem worried cuz altho they share cusdody he is the primary, and after this whole thing if she doesnt bring her back he is just going to family court!
we told him all day hes gotta fight for full custody!!! cuz this is not the first time she has pulled stuff like this before! altho not infront of laura but not good for laura to be around!!

please pray that laura is ok and is returned without any issues!! cuz i will just blame myself if she doesnt!
FIL is ok by the way, just all black and blued! he said he doesnt really feel much pain so that good!
it was such a hard thing to witness!! there was soo much wrong on soo many levels! first you dont tell your kid on christmas you are going to throw away her toys, you dont pick up your kid at 1:30 morning! and you dont put your kid thru watching her dad get beat up!!! these are just bad people and i am soo angry laura is the one who is going to hurt![]()
