I thought I would share our little bean! We went for our 8 1/2 week sono last night and the baby is growing great, measuring big...9 weeks 2 days and I am only 8 and a 1/2 weeks...heartbeat was great and momma is up 6 pounds from my last visit (god help me!!!!!) The doctor said I should be at 3 pounds in my first trimester and that I am ahead of the game, i think I am going to be a moose!!!!! I guess it didn't help taking 2 months off from the gym after the wedding and than the holidays huh??? Guess it's time to get in gear!!

Aw M-i-a!! Thats so exciting!!!! And stop worrying about your weight!! They say that the smaller you are to begin with , the more weight you gain. So, any feelings like its a boy or a girl or no clue??
Thanks girls! I have a feeling it's a girl, initially I thought boy but now I am thinking girl especially with the weight going right into my rear!!!

That is the yolk sac! It nourishes the baby until the circulatory system has fully developed.

Um not really sick, naseaus but that comes and goes more so at night, tired yes very by 3:00 I am done otherwise I really can't complain so far so good!

awww congrats!!! don't worry about the weight, just concentrate on a healthy baby for now.... the weight can come off afterwards....

I am glad you are feeling well -- and dont' worry about the weight I am sure it is more due to the fact that you just come off your wedding diet and the holidays -- as long you are happy and healthy it is all that matters!

dont worry about the weight! gained 9 lbs in the first 6 weeks and my doc advised me to slow down lol...but since youre thin its fine, youll start gaining less between each visit when you get to the 8-9th month.
