Our One Month Anniversary
Today was what I consider our 1 month anniversary, since we were married 4 weeks today (the calendar date is actually the 14th).
This morning while we were chatting before breakfast I said to my husband, 'Do you know what today is?' In typical man-fashion he said, 'Saturday.' So then I asked again, and he looked a bit sheepish like he forgot something like my birthday, and said, 'Of COURSE I know what today is.' I told him it was our one month anniversary, and he gave the manly 'I know!' response.
I took a shower and while I was drying my hair he walks in the room with flowers behind his back![]()
Red roses. I started crying, and then he whispers in my ear that our anniversary is really Monday. I just thought it was so sweet that he ran to the flower store while I was in the shower and got the roses just to not disappoint me. And to be honest, I didn't expect any flowers of any kind...I was just marking the day as special. I wonder how long before that counting the weeks thing wears off.
I just love that man.
