I think you should question that. You are going to have this video for the rest of your life and you want to make sure it is perfect.

Thanks, yes I think when we go to pick them up I am going to ask some questions and ask what happens if I am not satisified (just in case) I dont want to jump the gun but I just found it odd that we never discussed anything he told me to give him the music and then we would go over the basics next time he calls then he emails dh that they are complete .

wow that is bizarre Can you give them a call and ask? We haven't done our video yet but I would imagine they would let us preview?? I don't know hun.

I thought it was a little odd John is calling them now . Exactly what if there is some footage I dont want in the original copies (which there is some footage I dont want) I also didnt want when our baby montage comes up them placing those colorful backgrounds behind it (I dont really know how to describe it) they do something with the graphics and they place flowers or something colorful while the pictures are changing

My videographer is doing everthing himself. I am not seeing a version and editing it. I would say that they are the professional and do it all the time and know what they are doing. I even let my guy pick the music. He would know more then me...

See if this is the normal protocol then I am fine with it. I just saw a few things from a sample that I didnt want featured in mine and mentioned it to him in the way beginning. He said we will go over all of that before the video gets finalized. I will have more faith! Thank you!

It doesn't hurt to e mail and call to remind him of what you don't want. Say that he said you'd go over it later and although you trust him you want to be sure that it's not included in your video....

I would just trust them that they did a good job editing, then pick up a copy and decide for yourself. just make it clear when you pick it up that you might possibly have changes depending if any footage was left out (i.e. my bff just picked up her video and her mom & dad were cut out when they made their entrance into the reception!!

same here. I had absolutely no input on our video, and it was amazing. I say, let the professionals do their thing! They even chose the songs for us, and everything turned out wonderful.
