I went to get my brazilian at 2pm and I'm still in pain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The lady was really sweet and comforting but the sh*t hurt like a *****!!!! I don't see myself going back for another anytime soon
I had to take a break in the middle b/c I thought I was going to kick the lady doing it
I really hurt a lot...I'm not going to sugarcoat it for any of the prospective ladies. It kills!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Put some milk on a soft papertowel and dab the area... it will take out any redness and make the soreness subside a little.. and take a motrin... anything to help!!!

This is the time where you get to crawl into bed and have full reign over the remote, while DH brings you some ice cream (and make sure you tell him you did this all for him! )
I say the same thing you're saying after each time... but it's really SO much better! they become LESS painful over time. My first one had my legs shaking from the pain! My woman said she even waxes herself now, that's how much the pain has subsided!

ITA...once you keep up with it it hurts less an less and less hair grows back. I go every 6 weeks

aww ev, i am so sorry! listen, i was in your shoes!!i got my first wax right before the wedding at Bliss spa, and it hurt pretty bad but not as bad as i expected. i continued to get the brazilian done like every two months. then i didnt go for a while!! and im not gonna lie, it got a little out of hand down there. anyhow, i trimmed with a scissor and finally went back and it hurt like HELL!! it was so bad!!! and i wanna say i think it hurt more than the first time.
they say that if you wait too long in between waxes that it will hurt a lot more. i went through the same thing u did. i had to have her pause for a minute.
she also said that if you go right after your period, it will hurt more. she said to wait two weeks after your aunt flow...
i highly rec. going to bliss spa or completely bare in the city b/c they use a different type of wax. its thicker and looks like it will hurt a lot more but it doesnt. i never had a waxing down there with the reg. standard wax so i can only imagine it hurting a lot more..
dont give up on Brazil!!

I was swollen for 2 days before my wedding after my last brazilian... BUT keep in mind, I hadn't had one in like 2 years

hi girls--i go to lauren at Elizabeth Arden red Door Spa in garden city and i LOVE IT!
they use this ouchless wax and it doesnt hurt at all and i get the brazilian!

I went to J Sisters the first time in the city and I swear I was cursing and sweating through my clothes. It was the worst pain ever. But, my girlfriend uses a numbing cream and said that it really works. So I am going to try it one more time before the summer with the cream. OMG..it really really hurt.

Secretly I want one but I don't have the balls to do it.
As long as it can be numb, I'm down. That's how I got my tounge pierced lol

thank you girls sooo much It's feeling a lot better now but still a bit sore.
I'm going to give it another try, bur probably a different place just to see if there's a difference in pain.
I'm usually not super sensitive but I guess I am down there

I had it done beofre my Wedding......It hurt so bad that I actually started laughing. Trying to make the pain go away. I haven't been brave enough to have it done again.

sorry babe!!! It definitely depends on the place you go to. I would recommend bliss since it's been recommended to me so many times by so many different girls. I think I'll try that next time
