Pain in the neck!!!
DH and I have lived together for over a year and a half and we have the best time...we really jive. BUT he's somehow picked up a new habbit and its a real pain the @sssssss!He's been taking off his sweaty funk-nasty gym clothes and tossing them in the empty washing machine as opposed to the hamper. So I have to go in and grab his foul gear, move it to the hamper, and load up a wash. Doesn't sound so bad but its annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We both do laundry so it's not like I'm the keeper of the washing machine...but it annoys me. I am very strategic with laundry - whites/darks/cold/hot, etc.
Any fun things you ladies deal with?!

Re: Pain in the neck!!!
to your DH and his gym clothes. And OMG~I could write a book...But his newest one is that he doesn't close the water fully after he showers, so the water keeps running and it annoys the living crap out of me. I tell him ALL the time to just close it all the way, but I think he leaves it open out of spite

Re: Pain in the neck!!!
At least he puts it IN something. My DH puts his clothes NEXT to the hamper (not in). Apparently its too much work to open up the hamper?
And its not his gym clothes either...its his work clothes (he's a garbage man
)

Re: Pain in the neck!!!
HAHA! Colleen, my DH is pretty much the same. He gets undressed in the hallway (??) before walking into the bathroom and leaves his clothes in the hallway. Once a week he'll pick them up when the pile is too big to walk around (I usually get to them first though) and put them in the hamper!OR he b*tched and complained that the apt wasn't cleaned for 2 weeks since I was sick but he didn't cook or clean or do anything and he was totally fine!
I could go on and on but I'll leave you with just that.

Re: Pain in the neck!!!
lol, and i'm just the opposite. he was putting his clothes in the hamper and i want them in the washer.i want TOWELS in the hamper.
wait... let me back up, we have a hamper in the washing room, one outside the upstairs bathroom and another in the bedroom. i dont like clothes in the washroom hamper. the other two are okay.
but if he takes his socks off downstairs i want them in the washer, because if he puts them in the hamper i tend to miss one and then when i fold clothes i have to put that one to the side.. it just urks me!

Re: Pain in the neck!!!
My pet peeves recently are these 3:-leaving dirty socks all around the house
-not closing the shower curtain after he is finished
-coming downstairs in the morning and seeing his coffee mug and breakfast remains still on the table as if I have to clean up after him
Do husbands assume we will take over for their moms when they get married?

Re: Pain in the neck!!!
Wet towel(s) thrown on the bed after useHere is a funny one...
So as I mentioned, we 'both' do laundry but I really have to take the lead otherwise our bedroom turns into mass chaos. So he buys packs and packs and packs of underwear! I mean, my man must have upwards of 40 pairs! I make jokes and he cops a tude but then we start cracking up! I just don't get it. Why so many pairs of drawers baby?!
His side of the story is that he 'ran out' once....pardon?

This is my other pet peeve! He'll leave plates and cups and tell me 'I'll get to it' but then I come home after being away all weekend and it's still there so I have to end up cleaning it anyway! Or I JUST did the dishes and he puts a bowl in the sink...CLEAN IT and they won't pile up!!!!!
He'a a pain in the a$$ but he's my pain in the a$$!
As for being his mom I told him when we were dating 'if you think I'm going to take her place, you're crazy'! She used to get up at 4:30AM to make him breakfast and lunch for the day. I told him 'you're hands aren't broken, I work full time 7-4 every day too!' I sound like a terrible wife but seriously would it kill him to clean up his cups and plates and laundry!!??!!
