I was just wondering for those that got Parent albums - did they choose the pictures or did you let your in-laws say which ones they wanted

I chose the pictures for my mom's album ... it was a cut down version of ours with extra pictures of me & my brother (my only sibling) and none of my dad.

My mother and DH's mother picked out their own pictures for their albums. They were allowed to pick 24 photo's each.

My parents picked out their pictures and DH's parents did the same. Each had to pick 30 pictures

My parents and DH's parents chose their photos and came with us to the photographer to do the final selection. 6 people=6 hours!!

we didn't have albums, but we had folio's. We let our parents choose the pictures.

We let them pick their own pictures. The photographer suggested that we choose the pcitures for them, but I had a hard enough time choosing mine!

We let them choose their own photos. We felt it was their album they should decide what they want in it, why would we choose their pictures?

For my parents I showed them the semi finalist for our album & they chose from there, with our help. DH's mom chose her own. They are mostly NOT the ones in our album. She just did a whoel buch different poses of DH, FIL & the groomsmen ( her 2 nephews) mostly.
It's weird & it was hard to put in any order, but that's what she wanted, so I guess it is good we didn't pick it for her.

I thought I would let them pick the pictures - which kind of backfired on me. My MIL picked like 100 pictures!!!

My MIL picked out her pictures and I ended up picking my parent's pictures, since my mom and I don't talk to each other.
I don't even think my mom deserves an album, I wish I could get my $$ back for her album.

I picked the pictures for them. I know which ones they like (from when they saw the proofs), and I added a few more up to the 24 to fill in the day. it would be too complicated to let them pick because I already removed the ones I want into seperate piles and I know they will screw thins up for me.

Us also.
My MIL was able to pick out her 24 pics in about 20 min. ( Out of 850 proofs!) My mom on the other hand has had my proofs for 2 weeks and she still can't pick!!! She called me today to ask how much it will cost her to add more pictures to her album. I am afraid to even ask how many she wants
