i got a ticket last week for alternate side parking and there were three errors:
violation part says 'no parking from 8:00 - 10:00', but it actually starts at 8:30 (although the ticket is given at 8:32)
color says black and i have a blue car
model says BMW and i definitely don't have a BMW
so, is a ticket like that automatically dismissed? i thought any ticket with errors gets dismissed, but then i asked like 3 people and they said they never heard of that, but i could swear thats what i heard.

for those kind of mistakes I could see it being thrown out-since it could definitely be a different car...but I definitely dont know for sure

I think you can definitely get it dismissed. Im not sure how you should go about it though. Maybe plead not guilty and write out a statement and send a picture of your car showing it isnt the right model and take a pic of the sign. There are so many errors Im sure the ticket will be dismissed.

haha, its about time one of my many tickets get dismissed!! i wish it was one with higher fine though

Even one mistake and the ticket is not valid. So definitely dispute the ticket. You don't even need pics since your registration shows the model and color etc of your car. So maybe a photocopy of your registration card and that should be enough I think.
