Passover Dinner Ideas

Passover Dinner Ideas

DH and I are planning on having a Passover Seder in our home in NC. We are set on dessert--lots of Passover safe cookies and homemade ice cream. However, I'm a little overwhelmed by the dinner portion of the evening.

I am a vegetarian and I am not opposed to having meat but I do not cook it...so any suggestions for a vegetarian Passover Seder.

Please note: DH is Jewish, I am not...since I've never even been to a Passover Seder this is really difficult for me!

Hmm, that is tough - we usually do have meat since we can't have anything else! I'm no chef, but I can't think of any vegetarian dishes that don't have some sort of pasta or rice...

Do you eat fish at all? If so, you can make salmon as a main dish.

I'm probably one of the oldest people on here, but I have never made a holiday meal, we always still go to my mom's house.
She always makes roast beef or turkey (sometimes both), matzoh ball soup, and a vegetable dish.

kugel too.
