PEDIATRICIAN Recommendations ?

Hi Ladies,

My Dr. just suggested we start picking a pediatrician. I dont know if we should just pick one at random from our benefits handbook, or if I could, i'd like to get a GOOD recommendation !

Anyone have nieces, nephews, friends that LOVE their pediatrician ? I'm in Smithtown/Commack and I'll travel as much as 10-15 miles if its worth the drive for a good word of mouth referral !

Hi. I'm not sure of the distance but I work in a pediatricians office in Huntington Station. Let me know if that is too far

I asked a friend of mine who lives in commack who she uses for her 3 month old son. She did not have the number in front of her when I spoke with her, but I thought you could look the Dr. up in the phone book. He is on Commack Road in Commack. It is a practice with 4 peds. The Dr she uses is Dr. Scott Svitek. She says he's great. Hope this helps. Let me know how you make out.
