we're pretty boring, we both call each other babe and baby. sometimes he call me Jax (my name is jackie)
we never actually say each others names to each other, it sounds weird when we do

i call him babe, he calls me beav, short for beaver.... dont really know where he got it from, but have been answering to it for years!

I told DH I was sad that everyone else's DH has a cute name for them and he just calls me Meredith.

He said
'I call you Chunky Monkey'

..........I once told him about an ex who called me that as a joke and it made me crash diet and lose like 20 lbs in 3 months. So now he thinks its hilarious.

ETA: so I added a new nickname to his list. Poo head.

We just start calling pet names out when we are just trying to speak to each other and the other isn't listening or one of us wants something. We usually use babe all the time but then it goes to 'pumpkin', 'honey', 'love of my life', and then 'HELLO!!!!!'

We almost never call eachother by our actual names.

Only if I'm in front of certain people - like his coworkers or the outlaws.

Or if we're in a store and I have to call out loud for him.

... we use 'babe' mostly. He sometimes 'schloob' which I still don't understand where he came up with that.

When I'm pouting about something I call him 'mean-husband'.

ok I need to explain ellen
1 time when we brought MIL to the ER there was a women next to her who kept yelling for her daughter Ellen. this went on for hours- so the sweetheart DH is he started talking to the lady to calm her down. So I started calling him Ellen after that.
