Pets give us so much

My DH and I have rescued quite a few animals (cats and a dog).

About 6 - 7 years ago, we rescued 2 kittens from the same litter. The boy is Ryan and the girl is Erin. We had to bottle-feed them.

Well, now Ryan has been sleeping between my DH's and my pillow...and he rests his head on the corner of my pillow. I wish that I could take a picture of him...but obviously he does this when the lights are out. I can hear him purr as I fade off to sleep.

Perhaps it's his way of thanking us for being there when he and his sister were so tiny and just starting out in Life. At least that is what I like to think.

Awww! I love animal stories. never considered myself an animal lover until I got my kitties. Simon the 10 month old is a MESS. He LOVES the water and sits in their water bowl so poor Zoe gets @ss water to drink or he splashes it out then gets wet paw prints all over my wall.

BUT he LOVES to snuggle and he LOVES his momma He will jump onto my lap without permission and snuggle and if I am typing and he doesnt like the noise or wnats ym hands to pet him, he wraps both paws around ym arm and hangs on till i give in...its pretty cute.

Zoe (DH's cat) tolerates me barely most days yet when i didnt come home one nigth I went out with family and stayed at my parents, DH said she kept crying for me even after he gave her extra food (she LOVES that) and was waiting at the steps and kept going to our bedroom as if expecting to find me there.

I love them

awww. thats so cute!!

Shea is a mush.. she always sleeps in my bed when DH leaves for work.. (very bad , i know)
but its sooooooooo cute!!

My DH has given me so much (non-material). The one thing that I cherish the most is letting pets into my life.

They give you unconditional love.

They know when you are down. That's when they come up to you and want to 'snuzzle'.

I love all our pets.

I am obsessed with watching Animal Cops on Animal Planet.....I get so upset when people abuse animals but then I LOVE the end of the show when you see new families who adopted them and love them.

I love my lils one. They know when your having a bad day and just come up to you and sit on you. They don't ask for much just loving.

That is soooo sweet... I understand that completely.... Chico sleeps inbetween us and sometimes he is on top of my pillow so he's the first thing I see in the morning and he will always give me a kiss!! Mimi sleeps inbetween either mine or DH's legs... and when we wake up, she peeks out from beneith the covers and lays next to us... We wouldn't want it any other way!!!!

I have to say that is one thing I really miss about living at home....my pets.

I wish we could have a pet where we live...I make up for it by making DH go into the pet store in the mall everytime we go and telling him what kind I want when we finally buy a house
