oh please, i don't think that was bad at all. and actually, they probably know each other qyite well as they are both on the US Swim Team and swam in 2000 and 2004 Olympics on the same team. i took her last comment almost like a joke because in some ways it owuld be like dating a realyl good friend or brother.

at first i didnt think there was anything wrong with what she said either. At first i also took it as she probably just saw him as a close friend so to say ewww no or no no no we never held hands is a normal response when you have a real good guy friend and just cant see it in that way. But the last comment was wrong, to see now she has good taste is not something you would say about a friend. If a close guy friend said oh no we never did anything like that, and said what she said at first then i wouldn't get mad, i would see it as he doesn't see me like that but more of a sister so would understand the comments. But if a guy friend said 'no i wouldn't date her, i have real good taste' then i would take that as an insult
