We actually couldn't decide on one pic. We are doing a collage of four on the outside of the card and including one wallet size. I can't wait to get the proof.

Although I haven't gotten there yet, a friend made a postcard with a collage of pictures on it. It looked awesome.

We have 3x5 thank you cards and we are inserting a single pic, wallet size photo to the card.
I ordered wallet prints from Photobucket - 4 for $.99.

I like the idea of a larger card, but added the extra wallet sounds like a great idea! I think i am going to do that too.
