I entered a picture I took on our honeymoon in a photo contest and it has made the semi-finals!!! Grand Prize is $10,000. I can't beleive it! It is going to get published in this book that the company puts out and everything. Waiting on confirmation when the final judging is but I think this summer!!!

What type of camera did you use? Film? Did you develop it yourself?

I poke around a little with photography and am just curious!

I think I know what contest you're talking about...they sent you a small proof of the picture you sent them with a copyright in your name...I sent my dog Linus's pic, and they also selected it and are putting it in their hardcover book (that can be purchased for some price, I forgot because I'm not buying the book).

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I think EVERYONE gets in that contest... I did as well a year or so ago and was so excited until I looked at ALL the other people that were 'picked' as well and would be in the book.... they were horrible shots!!! I got a medal from like a previous year and they kept sending me all this stuff about ordering the book with my copyrighted picture, etc... I never ordered the book because it was like $80 and I never won the $10,000... I can't remember the name of the place but if you said it I would know if it's the same...
