Photograpgy Question for Newlyweds

Since you ladies all went through this - I figured I would come to you for your expertise. We are planning on taking the bulk of the pics before the wedding so we don't have to miss too much of the cocktail hour. Ceremony and reception are both at Chateau La Mer. Invite time is 6 pm. We want to take pics at both La Mer and at a park that is closeby (10 minutes away). What time do you think we should go to the park? And then to La Mer? I figure we want to be back in the Bridal Suite by 5:45 at the latest if invite time is 6 pm ( ceremony is 6:30) How much time should we allow for all of this? Also - is it worth having photographers meet us at hotel for pics - or no big deal?
Should we invite the extended family to park early or La Mer early to take pics? Or just get those ones done during Cocktail Hour? our whole point to doing pics ahead is so we have cockatil hour to greet guests and can really enjoy rest of night together!

Thanks so much ladies!!

I think you should ask your photographer what he has planned as far as family pics go.

I'd say leave at least 1 hour, for pics at the park, if not more.
As far as the hotel, do you want pics of you getting ready?

We only took the bp with us to the park and our photogrpher took their pix with us first so they could leave and she could take her time with us. We took posed family pix at the hall with family.
