Photographer Help!!!

Photographer Help!!!

I posted a few weeks ago about my Photographer dilemma. We got married in June of 2000 and still have not received our album.

I have left tons of messages for the Photographer and have gotten no response. I need lawyer recommendations to begin a lawsuit.

I really don't want to spend a lot of money but I don't know what other options I have.

I would call 'problem solvers' or one of those TV shows but I have no desire to be on TV for something like that.

Please give me some recommendations on lawyers I could use - if you know if any.

Or any other options you can think of to get this photographer to call me back and get me my album.

Thanks.

Problem Solvers is your best, free bet! Have you driven to his studio and waited for him? I would. And bring your husband and Mom. DEMAND your proofs right then and there! Also, post notices ON his door if he doesn't arrive! You can file in small claims court without a lawyer if the cost is under a certain amount.
Post this on www.weddingchannel.com, local, NY boards. There are a lot of lawyer brides over there who can probably help you too.

Re: Photographer Help!!!

I am so sorry for your troubles. I agree you should take a ride down to the studio, with some company .. and probably it would be best to just show up without calling ahead. We've had troubles all year with a furniture store, and they are very poor at returning phone calls. This situation is infuriating. Anyway, my husband just picked up a book called, 'You Don't Need a Lawyer' ... it claims: 'a tough, effective system based on complaint letters that cut through the red tape of airlines, HMOs, banks, landlords, contractors, stores and more.' There are all kinds of guides and such, with 84 sample letters. I haven't gotten to look deeply into the book just yet, but it might be something worth looking into for your situation, at least to start .. if the personal meeting in his studio doesn't work.

Good Luck!!
