Well, that's done. I am so excited because the album is going to be gorgeous and every time I meet with my photographer I am so happy I went with him. But it's weird - I was almost a little sad afterwards - like this is IT! Once those albums are done (and if I EVER get my video) this wedding thing is really, truly over!! I can't believe it!

Congratulations on your album-picking! :) I haven't 'crossed over' to the newlywed page yet, but am looking for suggestions on photographers. I see that you were happy with yours. I was just wondering who he was and how much he cost. Thanks!
Lee - the wedding part may be over but just think, the Anniversary part is just beginning and think how much fun you can have plannning something special each year!!!
Congrats on picking your album shots. We're getting close to that point. Decided to wait until after our September visit to my parents in Arizona - then we'll finalize our choices and meet with the photographers.
Karen, you're absolutely right! The anniversaries should be a lot less stressful than the wedding planning, that's for sure!!
Have your parents seen the proofs yet? They must be dying to see them! I know when I left them with my Mom to pick her album I practically had to wrestle them back from her!! But now that I've seen the album laid out, I really can't wait to get it!!
Yes, I have heard many wonderful things about him. Unfortunately, I am getting married on Labor Day (1 year from today!) to keep reception costs down. I have contacted him already. But the lady that I spoke to on the phone told me that he probably won't want to work on that day because he wants to spend more time with his family. But thanks for getting back to me anyway!
Lee - they've only seen a few images that I've sent via e-mail. I'm in Boston and they are in Phoenix, so I haven't been able to show them the photos yet. We have so many I'm thinking of culling out some of the duplicates to make it easier to carry on the plane when we visit in a few weeks.
She'll have to let me take them when I go, because we want to meet with the photographer either later in September or early October to wrap up the album.
